This is my husband and me when we were young. I was 2 and he was 3. Our families have been friends for three generations.

We didn’t start dating until college.

It didn’t stick until grad school.

I am 5′ 10″ despite my husband’s insistence that I’m not.

I’m the mother of a toddler and a preschooler, a small business owner, and a good cook.

I have four pairs of Crocs and have bought pairs for my four other people -including my 84 year-old grandmother.

I like turtles and short walks on the beach (because I’m always afraid of leaving my stuff for too long). I like fizzy water, Boston cream pie, and The Office.

I don’t like allergies, having to prove myself, and having cold toes.

My skills include finishing a bottle of water in seconds, parallel parking, and pulling things together.

I am bad at ironing, spelling, and despite being a teacher, I never could remember my 7′s multiplication tables.

You can find me at the park, at Whole Foods, and occasionally on stage playing bassoon.
