Wii Fit!

I got a Wii Fit today. “How did you do that?” you might ask (because everywhere is ‘sold out’ of Wii Fits.) Let me tell you about my casual trips to retail places to inquire as to their stock of said Fits.
I walked in to several stores and asked if they had Fits. They all said no. One person even laughed at me.
In my sadness, I wrote an e-mail to my friend, Brad (I would love to link to his blog, but he doesn’t have one!)
Say hi to Brad:
I wrote to him: “If I was in the market for a Wii Fit, how might I go about procuring one for myself?”
He asked me a few questions and then called me about 12 hours later with one! He’s magical, folks! I’m not telling you this so that you’ll use him to get you Wii Fits, I think this would stress him out, I’m telling you this so you can look at him in wonderment as his procuring abilities.

Ok, I lied, that last picture wasn’t the oldest I could find. The oldest one I could find is this one:
This is me after competing in the Greek Olympics in 1998. I came in second in my sorority’s event, The Jello Slide. This, of course, included lots of Jello and a slip-n-slide, which I as a new member had to clean in the shower of my dorm room after The Olympics.
Anyway…this post isn’t about me, it’s about Jen, who is in the background with crossed arms. Jen and I pledged together, roomed together, went to formals together, stood next to each other while the other got married, were pregnant together, and this summer will go on vacation together with our families. Jen is an amazing friend, a strong Christian woman, and a great mother. She’s one of my heroes and one of my best my friends. Here’s another picture:

That’s Jen and Enya, Monica. I put Monica in there because she commented on my post yesterday and I like to reward my loyal readers.
This picture was taken in 2001 in my room on Monica’s Birthday during something secret and sorority like that I can’t tell you about.
Anyway, the moral of this post is: Jen is wonderful and I like comments. Stay tuned to see what pictures I next dig out of the vault. You may be next!
