“Any and all” means just that. If I want a steak on my chili mac, you serve it to me with a smile and charge me $4.99!
Where is customer service these days?
If you Buy it I will Bake…

Some people (person #1, person #2, possible person #3) think that if you create a wish list it shouldn’t include things that you wouldn’t buy for yourself because of an obscure economic principle adopted only by the testosterone driven (and anti-gifting) male segment of the population. This concept was originally laid out by person #1′s 2006 pre-Christmas blog post.
I disagree with this mentality on the grounds that it is unfeeling.
For example: I want to have a springform pan so I can bake a cheesecake. When I get to my friendly kitchen store I see two choices. There is springform pan A, which is basic and springform pan B, which is non-stick. Springform pan B is $10 more expensive, but I realize I still have to buy the ingredients for my cheesecake. I choose springform pan A and then go to my local Giant buy the ingredients for the cheesecake, bake it, and serve it to my friends. Unfortunately, most of the crust sticks to the pan and thus, the cheesecake is only a 3 out of 5 on the deliciousness scale.
Another scenario…I make a wishlist at my friendly kitchen store. On this wishlist I choose springform pan B because it will leave more of the yummy crust on my cheesecake. Additionally, since I will not be purchasing said springform pan for myself I won’t incur the extra cost of the pan and may even be able to afford to make a fabulous strawberry topping for my cheesecake. Someone sees my wishlist and knowing that it will make me happy to get a gift, buys me the pan; I then make an amazing cheesecake and serve it to my friends. This makes me, and my friends who will eat my 5 out of 5 on the deliciousness scale cheesecake, happier.
The crux of my argumnet is that both in giving gifts and in baking cheesecakes, it really is the thought that counts.
Some segments of the population may not agree with my theory, but I stand strong for the humanists out there who love to get gifts and bake for their friends.
