Wii Fit!

I got a Wii Fit today. “How did you do that?” you might ask (because everywhere is ‘sold out’ of Wii Fits.) Let me tell you about my casual trips to retail places to inquire as to their stock of said Fits.

I walked in to several stores and asked if they had Fits. They all said no. One person even laughed at me.

In my sadness, I wrote an e-mail to my friend, Brad (I would love to link to his blog, but he doesn’t have one!)

Say hi to Brad:

December 18, 2005

I wrote to him: “If I was in the market for a Wii Fit, how might I go about procuring one for myself?”

He asked me a few questions and then called me about 12 hours later with one! He’s magical, folks! I’m not telling you this so that you’ll use him to get you Wii Fits, I think this would stress him out, I’m telling you this so you can look at him in wonderment as his procuring abilities.

Wii Mail

My Wii sent me a message this morning telling me that Nintendo is issuing ‘remote jackets’ with all of is systems. These jackets are supposed to protect the remote, or anything at which it’s thrown, from damage in case you still ignore (like I do) their repetitive warnings to use the wrist strap. If you already have remotes, they will send you jackets for free. They look goofy, but I’m a sucker for free stuff!

Get yours here.
